Responsibilities & Context

Candidates should have fair knowledge of Companies Act 1994, Securities Laws (viz. Securities & Exchange Ordinance 1969, Securities & Exchange Rules 1987, Securities & Exchange Commission Act 1993 & others), Depository Act 1999, Insurance Act 2010, Insurance Rules 1958, Income Tax & VAT Act & Rules etc. Sound knowledge and experience on IAS and IFRS, Accounting software, Corporate financial reporting and preparation of Financial statements.The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees a company’s financial strategy and operations. Key responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing cash flow and capital structure. The CFO also leads risk management, monitors financial performance, supports mergers and acquisitions, and communicates with investors and stakeholders. Additionally, they oversee the finance team, collaborate with other executives, and ensure ethical standards and governance. Their role is critical to maintaining financial health and driving the company’s long-term growth.
