Additional Requirements

- Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in any reputed bank or non-bank financial institution out of which at least 10 years practical exposure in accounts & taxation related works of a bank / FI. Preference shall be given to the candidates working as CFO / Deputy CFO / Head of Finance / Accounts department in any reputed bank or NBFI. May be relaxed in case of exceptional candidates.
- The candidate must have clear idea about functions and major structure of financial statements of a commercial bank or NBFI and knowledge of computerized systems/ ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) implementation experience.
- Additional Requirements
- Strong command over MS Office specially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent inter personal skills along with excellent proficiency in Bengali & English.
- Having strong problem-solving, organizational, research and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic & dynamic personality who can perform assigned task under pressure situation and ability to complete all assignments in a timely and effective manner

Job Context
HFCL is looking for capable, confident and enthusiastic individuals for working as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation of financial statements, reports in line with the guidelines of the Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission and other regulatory authorities.
- Drive the company’s financial planning, financial management, administration, budgeting and auditing along with supervisory capability.
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
- Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
- Reviewing and monitoring financial compliance, carry out financial audits
- Reviewing Monthly Management Reports and Project Summary Reports and make recommendations as required
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Supervise all finance personnel.
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
- The companies ACT-1994, The Bank Companies Act-1991, BRPD & DOS circulars, CAMELS and Risk Based Capital Adequacy Guidelines (BASEL III).
- Financial Reporting as per IAS/BAS/IFRS guideline.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and business maintenance with assist of Head of Departments.
- Look after the accounting and treasury operation as per supervision of Department Head.
- Assist business head and senior management to generate / derive income to increase shareholders’ wealth
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax practice.
- Any other tasks as assigned by management from time to time
