Responsibilities & Context
Victor Bags Factory Ltd., a leading manufacturer and exporter in the bags/luggage industry, is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s overall financial strategy, planning, and operations.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned with company goals
Oversee accounts, finance, costing, taxation, VAT, and audit functions
Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships (LC, loan, trade finance)
Prepare and present financial statements, MIS reports, and performance analysis to the Management
Ensure compliance with NBR, Bangladesh Bank, and other regulatory requirements
Lead cost control, pricing strategy, and profitability analysis for export and local business
Supervise budgeting, internal controls, and risk management processes
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions
Guide and mentor the finance & accounts team
Support strategic decision-making, including investment, expansion, and cost optimization
