Job Context
Dhaka Securities Ltd. (DSL), one of the growing concerns of the Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), commenced its operations as a brokerage house in 2012. DSL provides a full spectrum of securities services to its customers; domestic and international individuals under a license from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC). Moreover, it is also acting as a depository participant under Central Depository Bangladesh Ltd. (CDBL), where it provides all kinds of depository services. Currently, MGI is searching for a proven and innovative Professional, who will be given the responsibilities of managing operations as well as strategic development. The incumbent will be expected to lead the day-to-day operations, guarantee optimum delivery of service quality, and encourage the development of solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all functional operations within DSL to the highest standards for efficiency and service delivery and to appropriate usage and stewardship of resources.
- Ensure the implementation of operations that support the strategic vision of DSL and work towards the attainment of its key objectives.
- Adhere strictly to the regulatory and company guidelines to avoid compromising on the standards laid down by the regulatory authorities regarding various operations functions.
- Improve the organization’s methods, processes, and concepts to strengthen information processing, optimize business practices, and advance management reporting.
- Work in conjunction with senior management to proactively develop and execute strategic strategies for operations improvement solutions, internal support structures, sound reporting systems, and the unification of company policies in support of growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Develop and sustain quality relationships with customers, suppliers, and strategic allies with the goal of achieving long-term beneficial associations.
- Promote a customer-oriented policy to ensure that customer satisfaction remains as high as possible, providing quality services and meeting their delivery time.
- Lead the operations team effectively, with a clear focus on setting high-performance standards and subsequently achieving outstanding results.
