  • A Chief Operating Officer (COO) within the hotel industry assumes a senior executive role responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of hotel functions. With a comprehensive range of responsibilities, the COO plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and effective operation of the hotel. Serving as the bridge between the hotel’s general managers and the CEO or Board of Directors, the COO directly or indirectly coordinates operational, commercial, administrative, and financial activities.

  • To provide leadership to the hotel management arm of the company including daily organizational operations, directing internal operations to meet the targets and achieve budgeted results, and other key metrics.
  • To operate profitable growth, effective investment in the current and potential contracts/assets and ensures long-term vitality of the business via strategy and effective management.
  • To ensure short-term and long-term implementation plans are in place and executed to support strategy to develop based on qualitative and quantitative analysis that move the business to desired profit and competitive state.
  • To highlight trends that are likely to shape the wants and needs of internal and external customers of the future; lead the organization in exploring business opportunities that create value for the customer while driving profit.
