Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in TVET, workforce development, or a similar field.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale training projects and leading TOT initiatives.
  • Experience in the furniture manufacturing industry or a related sector is an advantage

Responsibilities & Context

The Furniture Owners Association of Bangladesh is dedicated to advancing the furniture industry by enhancing the skills and employability of individuals through strategic training and development initiatives. As part of our commitment to economic transformation, we are implementing the ASSET Project across all furniture factories nationwide.

Project Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy in alignment with the ASSET Project goals.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of training programs across all furniture factories.
  • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Training and Development:

  • Design and develop curriculum and training materials tailored to the needs of the furniture industry if necessary.
  • Conduct Training of Trainers (TOT) programs to build the capacity of internal trainers.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality training sessions that enhance the technical skills and competencies of the workforce.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with industry experts, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and opportunities.
  • Foster partnerships with local and international organizations to support the project.

Quality Assurance and Evaluation:

  • Implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training initiatives.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to the Bangladesh Furniture Industries Owner’s association.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, and performance assessments.
