Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

We are looking for a professional and experienced Chinese Interpreter to support smooth communication between our Chinese factory Manager and Bangladeshi staff. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Mandarin Chinese, English, and Bangla, with previous experience in the garments or textile sector.

Job Responsibilities:

• Closely work with Factory Manager as a communication bridge between factory manager and local Bangladeshi staff across various departments (Warehouse, Cutting, Sewing, QC, Packing, etc.).
• Interpret real-time conversations during meetings, production floor visits, training sessions, and discussions.
• Accompany the Factory Manager during department visits and interpret instructions given to department heads or workers.
• Support documentation, reporting, and translation tasks as needed.
• Translate emails, production documents, SOPs, quality guidelines, technical specifications, and internal notices between Chinese and English/Bengali.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in translated documents to avoid misunderstandings in production or quality.
• Handle any other duties as assigned by the Factory Manager that require Chinese language proficiency.
