Responsibilities & Context

The Officer, Civil will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising civil engineering projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and project deadlines. Coordination with teams, contractors, and stakeholders is essential to ensure smooth execution of construction and maintenance activities.

Project Planning and Execution:

• The person will supervise over all construction of the project.
• Assist in preparing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Supervise site activities to ensure they align with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks for materials and workmanship during construction.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to construction codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with civil works.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and workforce activities.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.

Team Coordination:

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Manage on-site teams to ensure efficient workflow.

Maintenance and Repairs:

• Inspect and oversee maintenance of existing infrastructure.
• Recommend and execute repair work as needed.
