- Age At least 26 years
- Strong knowledge of civil and steel structure estimation, BOQ preparation, and quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Context
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer (Estimation) to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs for civil and steel structure works, along with supporting project coordination and office-related tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, rate analyses, and cost estimates for civil and steel structure projects.
- Review architectural and structural drawings for estimation purposes.
- Prepare quotations, tender documents, technical documents, and project reports.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control.
- Assist in material quantity verification and procurement-related coordination.
- Maintain estimation files, project records, and other engineering documentation.
- Perform other office-related engineering tasks as assigned by management.
