Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS), Master of Disability Management and Rehabilitation (MDMR)

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in pathology.
• Board certification in clinical pathology.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Extensive experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Hospital, Group of Companies, Diagnostic Centre

Responsibilities & Context

• Perform laboratory tests on tissues, cells, and bodily fluids.
• Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses.
• Consult with medical staff on patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pathology.
• Prepare detailed reports on test findings.
• Supervise and train laboratory technicians.
• Participate in medical research projects.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Review and validate laboratory results.
• Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Manage laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Provide expert advice on the selection and use of laboratory tests.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Assist in the development of new diagnostic tests and techniques.
