Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Additional Requirements

Experience in DevOps or related roles, with a minimum of 1 years in a leadership or managerial position.
Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
Strong scripting and automation skills, using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments, including data encryption, key management, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams to define cloud requirements and develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
Implement and manage containerized applications using orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
Monitor cloud resources and services, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
Implement best practices for cloud security, identity and access management, data encryption, and compliance.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability in the cloud environment.
Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure and operations.
Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures, and contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for production systems as needed.
