Responsibilities & Context

Context:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Executive to join our team. The Commercial Executive role focuses on managing all commercial activities associated with export/import operations. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth trade processes, compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation. The job requires in-depth knowledge of international trade laws, banking processes, logistics, and incoterms related to Letters of Credit (LC). The key responsibilities outlined emphasize coordination with multiple stakeholders, including banks, customs, freight forwarders, warehousing agents, etc.

This role requires a highly organized individual with a strong understanding of international trade, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently to support the company’s export/import operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all commercial activities.
  • Prepare all Commercial Export/Import documents bills of exchange, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Buyer Packing Lists, Truck challans, Beneficiary certificates, Shipping Bill, etc., and other documents prepared for Buyer, Customs, and Bank purposes. Should have knowledge regarding all incoterms related to LC.
  • Communication with the Bank for All Export/Import activities, Renewal & Repayment, LC, Purchase, Maturity Payment & Collection.
  • Operations regarding HS code, Customs Act, Export/Import Policy, Insurance, and other related laws applicable for Import & Export. Prepare Estimated LC cost (TTI & others cost) before Capable of doing works related to C & F agent & Buyer.
  • Follow up on export/import-related activities.
  • Handling C&F agent for related export/import matters deals with L/C, shipments, and payments. Maintain & update all business documents on time.
  • Communicate with Bank, Forwarder, C & F, Transport agent & Warehousing Prepare LC margin & LC statement.
  • Collecting LC Performance reports from the Bank. Prepare B2B & Local LC Documents. ERC & IRC Works.
  • Prepare necessary statements and reports in line with the management’s requirement
  • Keep records manually and digitally in the register for original documents submitted to the bank individually.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
