Manage all export and import activities, including documentation, shipping, customs clearance of woven garments (Tops, Bottoms & Jacket) and one Accessories Unit (Button).
Monitor shipment schedules, coordinate with shipping agents and forwarders, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Handle import and export licensing, permits, and certifications.
Prepare and manage all commercial documents, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, SAFTA and other required paperwork.
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of documents to comply with export and import regulations.
Oversee payment terms, collections, and credit management.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with export and import operations, such as trade disputes, currency fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company’s interests.
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, shipping agents, and other stakeholders.
Resolve commercial disputes and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
Manage relationships with freight forwarders, and other external stakeholders.
Lead and manage the commercial team, setting clear goals and objectives.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
