Responsibilities & Context

  • Maintain good liaison with the buyers, suppliers, forwarders and bank for completing the documentation on time to smooth export and import.
  • Complete all commercial activities (i.e., EXP, UD, In bond, Costing, and Consumption approval by Customs Authority) on time.
  • Handle EPB, Banks & C&F agents, shipping lines, BGMEA (CO, GSP), Buying House, Transport Agents (Truck Company) and other export & import related organizations.
  • Follow up commercial invoice, packing list and detail packing list for export.
  • Always be prepared and updated the Factory Licenses – Tread Licenses, IRC, ERC etc.
  • Ensure online shipment booking & documentation for export in timely fashion.
  • Make sure proper correspondents with merchandiser, factory, buyer, shipping line, freight forwarder and other concerned offices accordingly.
  • Faster the customs process for goods clearing and transportation against Import & Export.
  • Prepare Export Bill or import invoice as per Sales Contract or L/C terms, submit to Banks and negotiate/purchase.
  • Make sure ‘Insurance Coverage Note’, PI and all such other documents meet all the formalities and requirements as specified by the banks for L/Cs
  • Maintain file of each and every deliveries or shipped items and time to time provide update to the management.
  • Follow up with banks for receiving notification about the shipment documents, confirm the payment and get the document released from the bank for clearing goods.
  • Ensure forwarding copies of important documents to Merchandising, Accounts, and respective departments of the company.
  • Issue debit or credit note for concern party and update banks.
  • Follow up banks for each and every transaction of the company and ask vouchers from banks for that transaction.
  • Understanding of documents retirement & acceptance process for Import.
  • Keep records of all agreements (i.e: Purchase Order, Sales Contract, Back to Back, L/C, UD)
  • Check & understand all terms and condition of contracts to protect company.
  • Any commercial related task given by the management.
  • Prepared and collected incentive on Regular basis.
