The Hunger Project empowers millions of women and men, youth leaders, local elected representatives, CSO to end their own hunger.

Project Background:

  • Multi-stakeholder Initiative on Peace and Stability (MIPS), is a five-year long Programme of THP stated 1st March 2023. The Programme is funded by FCDO. The Programme will primarily contribute to defuse political, communal and ethnic violence. The Programme activities also relate to engage local peace volunteers and peace groups in violence prevention and conflict resolution as well as ensure the participation of women and youth and their representation in governance structures at local level, including in CHT. The Programme will also contribute to improve political and civic space with a more collaborative and tolerant politics at local level.

Job Summary:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Program Director, the Communication and Publication Officer will be responsible for developing high-quality communication materials such as short videos with animation, designing, and publishing newsletters and social media contents. This role promotes a client-oriented approach within THP and with Regional, Cluster, and Area Offices by providing effective and timely professional services.
  • The Communication and Publication Officer will lead the creation of communication materials, capturing and editing short thematic video clips with animation and designing publications, in consultation with the Programme Manager of the Knowledge Management unit at THP. The Officer will ensure that up-to-date information and communication products related to visibility and branding are shared on THP’s social media and websites. Additionally, S/he will develop newsletters, collect case stories, and produce quality photography. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
