- Experience in the field of Protection or Community Based Protection activities.
- Must have proven experience in managing similar projects successfully.
- Ability to work independently in the humanitarian field & must have experience of team management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, conflict management and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness and ability to work in hardship environments (both in camps and host communities)Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills are essential.
- Previous exposure to UN sector approach at field implementation level.
- Profound management & creative skills in implementing comprehensive organizational development projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and reporting skills in English (along with (MS office, KOBO etc.) & effective interpersonal and negotiation skills, proven through successful interactions with all levels of stakeholder groups.

- Supervise and monitor CC Assistant & 2nd level supervisor of Community Center Volunteers , Center Guards , Cleaners Delegate responsibilities to the Community center team through collect their work plan and performance report regularly.
- Be responsible for information management, update service mapping, etc.
- Responsible for monitoring the submission of complaints/Radio listening group sessions etc. in KOBO at daily basis.
- Responsible for maintaining all communication materials inside his/her CC.
- Share key messages and information verified by UNHCR staff.
- Ensuring outreach to the community hence promoting awareness of the community centre in the area of operation.
- Attend all Protection meetings, sector meetings and represent the Community Centre’s activities.
- Work closely with the established community structure as well as with Imams, teachers, women groups, youth groups, and persons with disabilities, among others.
- Presence at the community centres in the working areas during working hours
- Ensure a locked suggestion box is set up for any written/confidential issues
- Ensure all the documents (logbook, referral form, stake card, stock card, feedback form, etc.) available at the Community centre.
- Ensure protection mainstreaming in all CBP interventions.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
- Monitor CC activities Based on target, Process, and current status.
- Monitor the block-level activities and outdoor activities.
- Support other pillars in conducting regular activities.
- Identify the challenges of CC in activity implementation and work to ensure the best solution for the challenges.
- Ensure all kinds of logistics and administrative support for CC to facilitate daily activities smoothly.
- Supervise the community centres in the absence of the community centre assistant.
- Prepare and submit Requisition for all kinds of materials needed (Sports materials, Stationary, Office Maintenance, and others).Arrange program for Day observation on various national and international days along with community consultation meetings.
- Attend Monthly Protection sector coordination meetings and general coordination meetings.
- Keep coordination with other sectors to ensure support for PoCs as per their need.
- Perform other relevant duties as required for the project.
Responsibilities & Context
