Additional Requirements

Practical work experience in WASH, Climate resilient with CATS, CLTS Approaches and community mobilization, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder engagement in WASH projects.3-Star Approach in Schools and WASH Fit in HCF.
Ability to speak in Bangla, English, and Cox’s Bazar local language (written/verbal)
Team management.
Ability to work under limited supervision.
Dynamism.
Good report writing ability.
Computer skills.
Experience of at least five years in Community Development or social work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse cultural settings.

Lead the Community Approaches part of the project for the proper and smooth implementation of the activities as outlined in the project.
Monitoring the community’s needs and trends, such as population shifts or changes in WASH and Climate needs.
Developing and implementing plans for community led approach, such as creating affordable, sustainable WASH service through climate promoting resilient aspect.
Coordinate and closely work with Union Parishad to implement community engagement components and Support WASH Promoters to ensure effective implementation of community engagement activities.
Implementation of WASH in School and WASH fit approach at the Institutional level through engaging the teachers, student and administrators.
Organize and conduction of different training, meeting and workshop with relevant different community actors, project stakeholders, GOs and other project partners staffs.
Communicate and develop relationships with the targeted govt. primary schools, relevant govt. education offices, Upazila and district administration.
Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups, and organizations.

Cox’s Bazar (Teknaf)

Implementation of Climate Resilient WASH in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar District.
