Responsibilities & Context

Program Development:

  • Design and implement community engagement initiatives that foster socio-emotional learning and resilience.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with community leaders, educators, and mental health professionals to identify needs and tailor programs accordingly.

Training and Capacity Building:

  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and community members on socio-emotional behavior strategies and engagement techniques.

Research and Evaluation:

  • Collect and analyze data to assess the impact of programs; provide recommendations for improvement based on findings.

Resource Development:

  • Create educational materials and resources that support community engagement and socio-emotional health.

Advocacy:

  • Advocate for policies and practices that promote socio-emotional learning within the community and at the organizational level.

Community Outreach:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to promote program participation and awareness.

Integrity:

  • Showcases integrity standards as outlined in Cordaid’s integrity policies. Fulfills integrity responsibilities as outlined in Cordaid’s Integrity Framework and Standard Operating Procedures. Actively contributes to a safe environment within their scope of influence by encouraging dialogue, trust, and understanding and adherence to Cordaid’s integrity standards and procedures.

Other duties/additional tasks:

  • Supports the project’s security and risk management system through identification, communication and analysis of potential risks and security issues in the project region and related mitigation recommendations and procedures.
  • Other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor to support program implementation, including for other project output
