Additional Requirements
- Work experience in emergency response project/ Rohingya camps.
- Must be able to speak the local Chittagong language ·
- Female candidates are strongly preferred ·
- Experience in community mobilization, need assessment, beneficiary selection, input distribution and training delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good team player ·
- Willing to work in any camps in Teknaf Upazila ·
- Understanding of protection issues facing our beneficiaries ·
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Bengali
Responsibilities & Context
- The role of the Community Facilitator is to mobilize the community, capacity building of the beneficiary, managing and maintaining WFIC and coordination with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Community communication, mobilization and beneficiary selection and validation.
- Organize and facilitate beneficiary training, group meetings, workshops.
- Plan and record the training materials, equipment’s and assets.
- Identify and locate resources and services from internal and external (UP, Govt, NGOs) sources for the participants.
- Problem identification in the field and help the group to solve the problems.
- Organize and assist events observing different key International Days.
- Attend meetings/ events organized externally and represent the project and Cordaid properly.
- Prepare and submit plan, report weekly/ monthly as required.
- Maintain risk register and follow the feedback of the donor as well as Cordaid Dhaka office.
- Supports the project’s security and risk management system through identification, communication and analysis of potential risks and security issues in the project region and related mitigation recommendations and procedures.
- Showcases integrity standards as outlined in Cordaid’s integrity policies.
- Fulfills integrity responsibilities as outlined in Cordaid’s Integrity Framework and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Actively contributes to a safe environment within their scope of influence by encouraging dialogue, trust, and understanding and adherence to Cordaid’s integrity standards and procedures.
