Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science / Development Studies or any relevant degree.
- Diploma in relevant degree will also be considered.
Experience
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency
Additional Requirements
- Age 22 to 35 years
Community engagement and awareness-raising in humanitarian or development projects.
Experience working in refugee camps or rural communities.Knowledge of participatory communication, household outreach, and behavior change facilitation.
Familiarity with field data collection and basic reporting.
Prior involvement in renewable energy, clean cooking, or livelihood improvement activities preferred.
Proficiency in Chittagonian/Rohingya dialect is highly desirable.
Ability to explain technical topics in simple, culturally appropria.
Community engagement and empowerment.
Empathetic, respectful, and sensitive to community norms and humanitarian principles.
Time management and Team oriented.
Responsibilities & Context
Support the Technical Supervisor and Project Engineer in implementing e-cooking pre-pilot activities in both refugee camps and host communities.
Conduct household visits to identify, engage, and mobilize beneficiaries for participation in the e-cooking pre-pilot project.
Facilitate community meetings, awareness sessions, and focus group discussions (FGDs) to promote understanding of e-cooking systems and their benefits.
Assist in the organization of user training sessions on safe and efficient operation of e-cooking appliances.
Act as the key communication bridge between project staff, local leaders, and community members to ensure smooth implementation and feedback collection.
Support household-level data collection, including surveys, usage monitoring, and satisfaction tracking.
Ensure that community concerns, challenges, and feedback are reported promptly to the Technical Supervisor and Project Engineer.
Promote safe cooking practices, energy efficiency, and environmental awareness at the community level.
Facilitate logistics and coordination during equipment installation and training events.
Maintain detailed records of participants, field visits, training sessions, and other mobilization activities.
Capture photos, videos, and short narratives of success stories and lessons learned from the field.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the project management unit to support project delivery.
