Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
- MBBS with FCPS or MD (Radiology & Imaging) recognized by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).
- Minimum 5 (five) years of relevant experience in Sonology after obtaining a higher degree.
- Advanced training and expertise in Sonology will be given preference.
Experience
- At least 5 years
Responsibilities & Context
- Conducting and interpreting ultrasound and other diagnostic imaging procedures with a high degree of accuracy.
- Preparing detailed sonographic reports and maintaining patient records.
- Collaborating with referring physicians to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance of imaging equipment.
- Maintaining professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and adherence to institutional policies.
- Providing guidance and training to support staff (if required).
