Job Context
Protibondhi Community Center (PCC) is seeking applications from qualified Bangladeshi candidates for the Coordinator position under the PCC-EREDMCM Project, funded by CSI-Luxembourg. The project titled “Equal Rights and Economic Dignity for Marginalized Communities in Mymensingh” aims to promote social inclusion, inclusive education, economic empowerment, and equal opportunities for marginalized groups in the Mymensingh region. This is 3 years project and have possibility of renewal.
Job Responsibilities: At least 05 years of professional experience in national or international organizations in implementing similar projects. Minimum 3 years of development work experiences including Inclusive education, Advocacy and awareness and Disability.
- Project Planning:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Create a project timeline and set milestones.
- Team Management:
- Assemble and lead project teams.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Provide guidance, support, and motivation to team members.
- Resolve conflicts within the team.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement contingency plans when necessary.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop project budgets and track expenses.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Conduct quality reviews and inspections.
- Implement quality improvement processes as necessary.
- Project Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee the execution of project tasks according to the project plan.
- Monitor progress against milestones and deadlines.
- Identify and address issues that may arise during project execution.
- Travel frequently to the field (at least 50%), monitor progress and identify risks for timely action and early resolution.
- Change Management:
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Assess the impact of changes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that changes are implemented effectively and efficiently.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
- Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders and senior management.
- Document lessons learned for future projects.
- Project Proposal writing
- Closure and Evaluation:
- Ensure that project deliverables are completed and accepted by stakeholders.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Archive project documentation and share key learnings with the organization
