Requirements

Education

  • PGD from Sales Mgt. or relevant course is preferable

Experience

  • At least 2 years

    Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Group of Companies, Escalator/Elevator/Lift, HVAC System

  • Age at least 25 years
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the elevator, construction, or similar industries.

Responsibilities & Context

The Lift Sales Officer will play a crucial role in expanding the market reach of Walton’s lift products by driving sales growth, engaging with potential customers, and building strong relationships with clients in both commercial and residential segments.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase market share for Walton lifts.

  • Identify target customers in commercial and industrial sectors.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the management.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Engage with potential and existing clients to understand their requirements and propose customized lift solutions.

  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Market Analysis & Business Development:

  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.

  • Develop leads through networking, cold calling, trade shows, and other channels.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns and to generate sales leads.

Technical Coordination:

  • Work closely with the technical and engineering teams to ensure accurate product specifications and installations that meet client requirements.

  • Provide feedback on product performance and customer requirements for product improvement.

Post-Sales Support:

  • Ensure timely follow-up with clients for post-installation satisfaction.

  • Address customer issues or concerns by liaising with the customer support and technical service teams.

  • Participate in resolving product-related problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.

  • Maintain an organized record of client interactions, proposals, and sales pipeline for effective account management.
