Responsibilities & Context

Fakir Knitwears Ltd, a reputed 100% export-oriented Knit Composite Garments factory is looking for a talented, experienced, dynamic, potential candidate as Custom sarker , Commercial for its factory located at Kayempur, Fatullah, Narayanganj.

• Manage and oversee the entire import process, including customs clearance and compliance.
• Prepare and verify import-related documents (Bill of Entry, LC, Invoice, Packing List, etc.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Liaise with government agencies (Customs, NBR, etc.) to ensure smooth processing of shipments.
• Maintain and update customs-related records, licenses, and permits.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for import shipments.
• Monitor changes in import policies, tariffs, and regulations and ensure adherence.
• Resolve any issues related to import shipments, including delays, penalties, or discrepancies.
• Optimize import processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs where possible.
• Maintain records of all import activities, including documentation and costs.
