• Proven experience in developing and managing ETL pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in creating data visualization solutions (e.g., using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
• Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, etc.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK in Python.
• Strong experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Solid programming skills in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Understanding of data quality principles and experience implementing data quality solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and best practices.
• Experience with solution architecture design and implementation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary

We are currently looking for experienced Data Engineers to support us in the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data visualization solutions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building cloud infrastructure using AWS services, particularly with AWS CDK in Python. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data quality checks, creating reusable components for multiple solutions, and contributing to solution architecture and scalable data models across SQL and NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS) through AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) in Python.
• Design and implement robust data quality checks and data validation frameworks.
• Create and implement data visualization solutions to provide actionable insights.
• Develop reusable components and frameworks to accelerate solution development.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of solution architecture for data projects.
• Design and implement scalable data models for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers.
• Ensure solutions are built for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, cloud computing, and data management.
• Potentially contribute to offshore work coordination and collaboration.
