Responsibilities & Context
ETL Development: Develop and optimize ETL processes for large-scale data processing.
Data Pipeline Management: Create and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
Data Modeling: Design and implement data models and schemas to support business requirements.
Data Quality: Implement processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements.
Performance Monitoring: Optimize the performance of data systems, including queries and processing jobs.
Data Security: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts.
Technology Update: Stay current with trends in data engineering, big data technologies, cloud platforms, and machine learning.
Additional Requirements
Telecom Industry Experience: 5+ years in DWH, big data, and BI solutions.
Project Management: Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, development, deployment, documentation, and project tracking.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL), RDBMS, Linux, ETL tools, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, Python, and Shell scripting.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, negotiation, and client-handling skills. Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Management and Leadership: Lead a team of data engineers, plan engagement, and manage performance.
