Education

• Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Population Science, Social Science, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Anthropology, or other relevant departments.

• Have experience to operate a smart smartphone/tab.
• Good understanding of quantitative data collection techniques.
• Good understanding of clean cooking.

• Have proven work experience in collecting survey data.
• Experienced in teamwork and managing relationships.
• Understanding of local context (demography, economic, political, social context, cooking practice, especially electric cooking, LPG).
• Strong communication/motivational skills with the local stakeholders and community people.

Operating through regional offices in West Africa, Eastern Africa, Southern Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the UK, PAC combines international experts with local specialists, drawing on a network of over 550 regional staff and 2000+ experts.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Enumerator. It is a daily basis contract. The role involves collecting, rechecking cross-checking, and analysing, data sets to provide valuable insights for our organization. This position is based on the project implementation area. As an organized and inquisitive individual, you will play a crucial role in supporting the data collection activity for Practical Action Consulting Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:

• Data collection: Conduct survey interviews to collect data, such as demographic information, and record it using electronic devices.
• Data verification: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data collected.
• Data security: Ensure the confidentiality and security of the data.
• Follow-up: Conduct follow-up interviews to obtain missing or incomplete data.
• Reporting: Report any issues or concerns to a supervisor.
• Documentation: Document all necessary information and data
• Work schedule: Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Travel: Work in an assigned geographical area, walking or driving to designated locations.
• Permission: Obtain permission to collect data in the survey area from the local authority.
• Cross-check: Cross-check collected data with fellow enumerators.
• Communication: Report to the supervisor about work progress, issues, and challenges faced in the field.
• Policy: Data Enumerator should maintain organizational policy and requirements.
• Field support: Readiness to support the field survey team for both qualitative and quantitative.

Compensation & Other Benefits

3000-4000 BDT per day including VAT and TAX
