Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and optimize operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, data science, machine learning, and software engineering, along with excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including machine learning engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights for driving business decisions.
- Build and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
- Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in data science, machine learning, and software engineering, and apply them to improve existing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques..
- Proficiency with cloud platforms specially Microsoft Azure and their data, machine learning and cognitive services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
