Additional Requirements

• Experience in data science, machine learning, or related roles, with a strong track record of delivering impactful solutions.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with libraries and frameworks for data analysis and machine learning, such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

• Strong statistical analysis skills, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis, and clustering techniques.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or Tableau.

• Solid understanding of database systems and SQL for data manipulation and querying.

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with complex and messy datasets.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working in agile or iterative development environments is a plus.

Responsibilities & Context

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can provide valuable insights and drive business decisions.

• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems, such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, demand forecasting, and recommendation systems.

• Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance, using techniques such as cross-validation, A/B testing, and hypothesis testing.

• Clean, preprocess, and transform data to prepare it for analysis and modeling, ensuring data quality and integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define success criteria, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and compelling data-driven narratives, visualizations, and presentations.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning, and share knowledge with the team.

• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the availability, quality, and reliability of data for analysis and modeling.

• Implement best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure ongoing performance and effectiveness.

• Document methodologies, processes, and results to support reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
