Job Description

We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in solving regression and classification problems using time series data. This role requires a strong foundation in machine learning, critical thinking, and live coding skills. Whether you’re fresh out of school with an exceptional academic record or an experienced professional with relevant industry experience, we welcome your application—provided you meet our criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve regression and classification problems using time series data.
• Process and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address industry-specific challenges.
• Continuously optimize and refine algorithms for performance and scalability.

Candidate Requirements

• Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience solving regression and classification problems with time series data in an industry setting (e.g., for a company or organization). School projects do not qualify as industry experience.
• Fresh Graduates: Welcome to apply if you have a GPA of 3.75 or higher from an accredited institution.
• Experienced Candidates – Applications Will Be Rejected If:

1. You lack work experience solving industry problems for a company or organization (school projects do not count).

2. Your experience is limited to image recognition or OpenCV projects.

3. Your experience is limited to chatbot development.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data science.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and time series analysis.
• Ability to process and manipulate large datasets efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Hiring Process

Candidates must pass a rigorous evaluation process to demonstrate their technical and analytical abilities. The assessment includes:

1. Critical Thinking Exam: 45 minutes

2. Live Data Processing Code Test (No ChatGPT Allowed): 30 minutes

3. Live Machine Learning Code Test (No ChatGPT Allowed): 45 minutes

4. Verbal Interview: Time TBD
