Responsibilities & Context
- Write SQL Query, scripts, functions for database system with PostgreSQL.
- Advanced level database administrative tasks (backup, restore, installation) for numerous types of databases.
- Postgres DBAs handle capacity planning.
- Performance monitoring, security, backups, troubleshooting, and data recovery.
- Provide Maintenance Support for existing database to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain standard documentation of the Database
- Talking with clients to get the root of their problem quickly.
- Troubleshoot database problems, queries and errors in accurate and timely manner
- Providing support in the form of procedural documentation
