Responsibilities & Context
- Provide gentle, attentive care and ensure children’s safety at all times.
- Supervise and play with children with warmth and patience.
- Assist with feeding, dressing, toileting and nap routines.
- Offer emotional comfort, encouragement, and reassurance when needed.
- Engage children in fun activities like games, crafts and story telling.
- Support their social and emotional growth through meaningful interactions.
- Encourage good habits and positive behaviour.
- Keep play areas and classrooms clean and hygienic.
- Maintain children’s personal hygiene and sanitize toys and materials daily.
- Help with meals and snacks, creating a calm and friendly mealtime environment.
- Communicate openly with teachers and staff about any child related concerns.
- Report unusual behaviour or injuries promptly.
- Work cooperatively with the team to ensure smooth, happy days for the children.
