Responsibilities & Context
The incumbent should work in a large scale of BQT Kitchen and manage and lead a team of chefs to support and maintain a five star standard Kitchen operation for a large number of meetings and events.
- Supports the BQT Kitchen In-charge to deliver excellent service for a large number of meetings and events Meet and exceed customer and team member expectations by providing Yes I Can! service and teamwork.
- Co-ordinates all hot and cold food preparation including banquets when necessary Prepares sauces, soups and hot entrees for service and special functions ensuring that all stations are set for forecasted covers.
- Prepares and cooks traditional Kacchi for a large number of banquet event (1500pax-5000pax)
- Assists personnel in checking all cookers and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity, and quality of food products. Adheres to hotel policies and procedures.
