Additional Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and mechanical principles.
  • Expertise in installation and maintenance of Electrical systems including passenger lift, construction lift, generator, substation, BBT, power distribution, BMS, VRF, fire fighting, ventilation and various equipment.
  • Experience with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electro-mechanical engineering (e.g., ISO, UL).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies as needed.

Responsibilities & Context

  • System Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop electro-mechanical systems, products, and components. Conduct feasibility studies, research, and prototyping to validate design concepts.
  • Component Selection and Integration: Specify and select electromechanical components, such as motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems, based on project requirements. Integrate components into cohesive systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and procedures to validate the performance, reliability, and safety of electro-mechanical systems. Analyze test data and make necessary design modifications to meet specifications.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical documentation, including engineering drawings, schematics, and reports. Maintain accurate records of design changes and project progress.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that electro-mechanical systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. Implement quality control processes and perform regular inspections.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve electro-mechanical system issues through troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques. Develop preventive maintenance plans to ensure long-term reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software engineers, to achieve project goals. Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electro-mechanical engineering and related technologies. Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
