Requirements
Education
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance
MBA/M.Com/Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
CA (CC) is mandatory.
ACCA (Partly Qualified), CMA, or Associate/Fellow Membership of ICAB/ICMAB will be considered an added advantage.
Experience
3 to 5 years

Experience Requirements
Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in a senior managerial position.
Experience in Mobile Handset, Electronics, FMCG, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Trading organizations will be given preference.
Practical experience in budgeting, costing, financial reporting, taxation, VAT, audit, and ERP-based accounting systems is highly desirable.
Additional Requirements
Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS, Bangladesh Income Tax, VAT, Companies Act, and corporate compliance.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Strong presentation and reporting capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Accounting Software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with high accuracy and integrity.
Responsibilities & Context
Electra Mobile Ltd. is looking for a highly competent, proactive, and result-oriented professional to lead its Accounts & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, sound financial knowledge, and extensive experience in financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, internal controls, and ERP-based accounting systems.
Lead and oversee the overall Accounts & Finance Department.
Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Supervise General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, and Internal Audit functions.
Prepare management reports, MIS, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow statements, and working capital reports.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Income Tax, VAT, Companies Act, IFRS/IAS, and other statutory requirements.
Develop, implement, and improve SOPs, internal controls, financial policies, and operational processes.
Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
Monitor receivables, payables, inventory valuation, fund management, and financial risk.
Ensure proper implementation and effective utilization of ERP/Accounting Software.
Support strategic financial planning and provide recommendations to Management for business growth and profitability.
Lead, mentor, develop, and evaluate the Accounts & Finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
