Responsibilities & Context

Job context:

Tusuka is a 100% export oriented garments manufacturer. We are looking for interested candidate for the post of Deputy General Manager for those who have the initiative, highly committed, creative and self-motivated to take on challenges to deliver high-quality results.

Job Descriptions:

  • Co-ordinate the activities of the commercial department with other departments & outside parties, government offices, local liaison offices of buyers, audit farms, banks etc.
  • Smooth operational performance for export and import activities for management reporting.
  • Co-ordinate with marketing, merchandising department and accounts/finance department regularly for shipment schedule and fund management activities respectably.
  • Developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve targets. Reporting to the top management and General Manager of the company. Responsible to give a good account and prove to be equal to your responsibilities.
  • Follow up to activities with EPB, Bond & Customs Commission-rate (bond & customs audit), BGMEA, Bank, C&F, Insurance and shipping transport.
  • Dealing with buyers & suppliers for procurement documents.
  • Correspondence with local buying house & foreign buyer through e-mail time to time regarding export documents.
  • Liable to prepare a presentation to the top management of the company for a monthly meeting purpose.
  • Follow up to submit export documents to Bank for negotiation with buyers’ bank for bill realization.
  • Follow up on the payment realization & disbursement of the funds after getting the payment.
  • Play an integral part in the overall success of the team and take responsibility.
  • Have a great sense of urgency with a positive attitude.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the Management.
