Responsibilities & Context

Multimode is a diversified organization in several industries such as manufacturing, information technology, agriculture, textile, trading and distribution, insurance, hospitality etc. Now we are looking for a well experienced candidate for our Finance & Accounts Department to oversee all facets of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget preparation, forecasting, and development of internal control policies and procedures: –

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Collaborate with external auditors to prepare and audit financial reports.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with government reporting requirements (BOI, Bangladesh Bank, VAT authority) and tax filings.
  • Interface with tax authorities to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct product-wise cost analysis and implement cost optimization measures.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Liaise with Head Offices and branches of all banks/NBFIs, maintaining relationships and overseeing bank payments to maintain an unclassified status in the CIB database.
  • Handle local bank transactions, prepare weekly/monthly bank reconciliation statements, and address any outstanding reconciling items.
  • Prepare loan proposals, submit related documents to bank officials, and facilitate LC/BG facilities for the supply chain department as required.
  • Perform other assignments as delegated by management.
