Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager – Technical to lead and oversee the Jackets & Outerwear Manufacturing division in our company. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of garment production processes, and proven leadership experience in managing large-scale outerwear production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical team to ensure high-quality jacket and outerwear production while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the entire production process, from material sourcing to final shipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on pattern making, garment construction, sewing techniques, and finishing processes specific to jackets and outerwear.
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance production efficiency.
• Work closely with the merchandising, sourcing, and quality teams to align production with client specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in production, ensuring minimal wastage and defects.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, machinery, and innovations to improve product quality and factory performance.
• Train and mentor, the production and technical teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with global buyers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of orders.
