Core knowledge of finance, financial reporting, and NGOAB regulations.

Minimum 03 years of working experience in relevant field is required.

Responsibilities & Context

JOB PURPOSE: This role will be responsible for maintaining efficiency, transparency, and regulatory compliance across financial functions in the finance and accounts department. The position will analyze financial data, generate reports, and provide strategic insights for informed decision-making. Additionally, this role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze monthly/annual accounts of assigned portfolios and coordinate with the Central Finance & Accounts team and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication with different stakeholders (internal and external) at the head offices and field offices, ensuring the smooth operation of any project and attending field offices whenever necessary.
  • Forecast fund requirements, including reviewing budget activities, training staff, verifying travel expenses, and managing all administrative activities as required.
  • Review donor proposals, agreements, and budgets and ensure the required financial control.
  • Prepare donor financial reports, manage external audits, and provide NGOAB reporting as required.
  • Prepare and maintain project-wise details for the fixed asset schedule, regularly reconcile between HO & FO, and process journal vouchers.
  • Manage the fund reconciliation of receivables and payables of the project.
  • Ensure payroll ledgers and salary allocations comply with HR policies (Provision for provident fund, gratuity statement, TDS deduction, etc.).
  • Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis, and inform & report to respective programme and finance teams. Support management reporting as required.
  • Support the annual budgeting process for the assigned projects and upload them to the ERP.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure if any reportable incident occurs and encourage others to do so.
