Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors in Economics/ Social Science/ Media and Communication/ International Development/ Development Studies or any other relevant subject from any recognised university/ institutions.

Experience

  • At least 2 years

Additional Requirements

  • Basic knowledge on the development sector.
  • Basic knowledge on social media audiovisual campaigns & productions.
  • Content developing skills, especially video editing along with fluent English & Bangla language, relationship building, project management, event management, social media design trends, visual storytelling (photography).
  • Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator etc. along with content planning, developing work and project plans.
  • Minimum 02 years of relevant working experience. Preferable on AV production/marketing/development/communications.

Job Purpose

To support communications in positioning BRAC’s microfinance programme as one of the leading providers of microfinance in the world in terms of scale and impact, quality and innovation of products, client-centric design, customer service and client protection, and provision of financial services for excluded groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure the efficient management of operation and maintenance of the AV studio, including all equipment and facilities.
  • To coordinate video and audio production projects with timelines, ensuring alignment with unit’s objectives and goals managing overall budget for AV production, equipment purchases and production costs.
  • To collaborate with other teams and units within BRAC Microfinance to plan and execute standard audio-visual projects that support and uphold organization’s communication strategies, branding and messaging guidelines.
  • To participate in or oversee the development of scripts, storyboards and other content elements required for video and audio production & be up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and trends to have a studio equipped with the most appropriate and advanced tools.
  • To maintain and manage resources effectively including cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and post-production software ensuring its operations comply with safety and legal regulations, including copyright and intellectual property rights.
  • To keep coordinating with internal and external stakeholders stretching videographers, photographers, graphic designers, relevant professionals, to execute multimedia projects effectively.
  • To oversee the editing, sound mixing, and post-production processes to create high-quality final products.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
