Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 36 years

• Excellent DBA expertise with Production Database Administration, RMAN backup/recovery, Patching/Upgrades, Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, High Availability, Architecture Design, Infrastructure Analysis, Backup & Recovery and Disk Storage (ASM). Expert in Administration and Tools including OEM, RMAN, Cold & Hot Backups, OLAP/Partition/RAC, TOAD, SQL*PLUS.

• Proven experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response. Strong understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information.

• Experience with Unix, Linux and Windows system administration, Oracle DB Installation and Up-gradation, User managed Backup and Recovery, Database Refreshes and experience in Database migration, database change management and data management.

• Expert in Database Health Maintenance using Enterprise Manager, Self-developed shell scripts & methodology, Diagnostic, Tuning Pack and DBMS_ Utilities/Procedures·

• Experience with Enterprise Manager for monitoring and administering mission critical databases.

• Experience administering Oracle databases (minimum 12c) on Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Experience managing large-scale projects involving diverse functional and technical areas.

• Experience of supporting multi-tenant Oracle databases (CDB/PDB).

• Good knowledge in Data Modeling / Physical database design·

• IFS/SAP/Oracle EBS ERP database and application installation, environment configuration and maintenance knowledge will be an added advantage.

• Good interpersonal skills with experience interfacing effectively between business and IT teams.

• Strong Knowledge of other database systems – Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.

Responsibilities & Context

• Designs, maintains, develops, implements, and administers databases and its policies and procedures, ensuring its smooth operation, security, and integrity.

• Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, and production. (Oracle, MS SQL Server)

• Implement various database high availability solutions. Implement backup, recovery, performance, re-organizations and ensure security of the database.

• Resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness and consistency of data supporting the systems and applications.

• Provide technical support to application development teams for smooth implementation of the application.

• To design, maintain, and deploy software applications to meet user and business needs.

• Manage, train and guide team members to get maximum output to facilitate business support.
