Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Software Professional to join our team. This role involves working with Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, and related technologies to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of web-based applications. he/she will be responsible for managing complex databases, designing software solutions, and ensuring high standards of performance and security in an agile environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Must have extensive knowledge of Oracle APEX and Oracle Database.

Create and maintain databases for development, testing, and production environments.

Implement backup, recovery, performance tuning, and ensure database security.

Provide technical support to application development teams.

Design, maintain, and deploy software applications that meet user and business requirements.

Manage staffing, team motivation, and resource development effectively.

Write and debug complex procedures, triggers, functions, etc., in Oracle.

Assist in the development of custom applications and software systems using Oracle APEX and JavaScript in a web-based environment.

Assist with planning and designing system and application architecture, and translate system requirements into application prototypes.

Participate in the agile software development lifecycle, including design, code, and test inspections to identify issues/defects.

Support the analysis, architectural design, building, testing, and documentation of complex data conversion and integration solutions.

Act as a liaison between end users and business units to ensure the reliability and operation of supported systems.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and networking.

Possess a strong personality and ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Provide regular progress reports to the Head of ERP.
