JOB PURPOSE

  • This position will lead and monitor the IT support team to ensure the seamless operation of IT support for the efficient functioning of HR systems and operations. This role will also be responsible for the procurement of IT equipment and for managing IT inventory effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage technical support and provide troubleshooting assistance to users experiencing issues with HRIS and related systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries, resolving issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions to HR operations.
  • Document and track support tickets, escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or vendors, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Stay informed about system updates, new features, and best practices, and share knowledge and insights with the HR team and end-users.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations, coordinating with vendors and internal IT teams as needed.
  • Customize reports based on specific requirements from HR leadership, department heads, or regulatory bodies.
  • Manage and oversee data and network security for HRD.
  • Monitor and diagnose hardware problems, perform troubleshooting to identify root causes, and oversee the repair or replacement of faulty hardware components and IT equipment.
  • Document and track hardware-related issues and resolutions using ticketing systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on computer hardware, such as cleaning, dusting, and cable management.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan and reliability of hardware components.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and warranty services.
  • Manage all procurements of ICT equipment for HRD.
  • Manage user administration for ERP and HR software systems, ensuring smooth operational support.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
