Job Summary: The Deputy Manager/Manager of eCommerce Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of an eCommerce business. This position involves managing a team, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, monitoring inventory, and enhancing the customer shopping experience. The role combines operational excellence, team leadership, and a deep understanding of eCommerce processes.

  • Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of eCommerce operations professionals, including order processors, warehouse staff, and customer service representatives. Set performance goals, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Order Fulfillment: Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring orders are processed accurately, packed securely, and shipped on time. Collaborate with logistics and shipping partners to optimize delivery times and costs. Implement efficient order tracking and reporting systems.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts. Implement inventory control best practices to minimize losses and ensure accurate product availability. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely replenishment of stock. Customer Experience Enhancement: Continuously improve the customer shopping experience by ensuring accurate product listings, prices competitive, and product information up-to-date. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Analyze customer feedback and use it to improve processes and service quality.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to streamline operations. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in all eCommerce processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities. Generate regular reports on eCommerce performance and provide insights to the senior management team. Utilize data-driven decision-making to drive eCommerce strategy.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with all relevant eCommerce regulations, including data security and privacy. Implement fraud prevention measures to protect the business from fraudulent activities. Overseeing the design and development of the website Monitor web analytics and internal data sources Design and execute roadmaps Supervise all activities and product development Work closely with web development and technical teams Developing SEO/PPC strategy/marketing plans
