Requirements

Education

  • Graduation in Mechatronics is preferred.

Responsibilities & Context

Noman Group, one of the largest Bangladeshi conglomerates in the textiles and garments with employing over 70,000 people sector in Bangladesh is seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Auditor to oversee and evaluate our local mechanical and electrical procurement purchase. The Auditor will directly report to the Head of Local Purchase.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing supply chains, with specific experience in mechanical and electrical components used in garment manufacturing. This role will involve assessing suppliers, assessing relevant product quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive audit plans to assess mechanical and electrical supply chain processes specific to garments, wet process and textile industries.
  • Conduct regular audits of procurement purchase, supplier performance, and inventory management related to mechanical and electrical components.

Supplier Assessment:

  • Evaluate suppliers of mechanical and electrical components to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Perform on-site assessments of supplier facilities, including audits of their processes, quality control measures, and adherence to industry standards.

Process Evaluation:

  • Analyse and review supply chain processes for mechanical and electrical components, including procurement, inventory, logistics, and quality control.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Regulatory and Industry Compliance:

  • Ensure that all supply chain activities related to mechanical and electrical components adhere to relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards affecting the garments industry.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain related to mechanical and electrical components and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address any compliance issues or discrepancies and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of audit activities, processes, and results.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to implement improvements based on audit findings.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of changes and ensure continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
