Job Purpose

This role assists in performing basic project controls functions including scheduling, reporting, material management, site quality assurance/quality control, contract support and other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • To maintain regular communication with the Operations, Construction and Maintenance department and others relevant departments/programmes to ensure smooth functioning of construction work and resolve arising challenges.
  • To deliver proactive supervision and be accountable for ongoing projects by ensuring quality of work through maintaining budget and timeline.
  • To share write up on project progress records in liaison with supervisors of different units of the projects to ensure quality of the received materials and smooth progression of work.
  • To coordinate all required construction meetings on time with all required personnel, and stakeholders to run projects efficiently and effectively.
  • To verify document and quality of each subcontractor and suppliers and their work maintaining safety and security.
  • To notify management regarding productivity, costs, quality control, document management and update issues which may affects work progress with pragmatic solutions.
  • To collect feedback and brief management operations for taking necessary correction measures by removing blockage through consolidated efforts and coordination.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
