Responsibilities & Context
Job Requirements:
Automate build, test, and deployment processes.Proficiency in DevOps practices such as Docker, Kubernetes, auto-scaling, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and secure.Solid understanding of streaming and caching technology.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Manage and administer both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.Handle database administration tasks including migration, replication, and reprocessing.Configure and manage containerization technologies such as Docker.
Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and application health.
Analyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively.Establish and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and deployment processes by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend optimizations for existing systems and processes to enhance resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
Additional Requirements:
build and implement new development tools and infrastructureprepare and utilize automation scripts for deployments and implementations.
integrate various tools within the infrastructure. maintain infrastructure and related integrations, including all deployment processes.
collaborate with software engineers to ensure development follows established processes and functions as intended.
identify technical problems, provide fixes and patches, and perform root cause analysis of production errors.
participate in application load testing and penetration testing for resource optimization and security configurations.
understand stakeholders’ requirements and analyze the best workable solutions.
Experience:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD is must.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of database management and SQL/NoSql.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Certification in cloud platforms is a plus (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
