Additional Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in the DevOps field.
• ⁠Experience with PHP and Node.js application deployment.
• ⁠AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• ⁠Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
• ⁠Strong experience with AWS services (IAM, EC2, VPC, AMI, RDS, Load Balancers, ASG, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, SNS, SES, cross-account backup).
• ⁠Proficient in Linux administration, particularly Ubuntu, for managing and deploying applications in development, UAT, and production environments.
• ⁠Experience hosting and managing MySQL production databases.
• ⁠Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• ⁠Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Elastic Stack, Grafana).
• ⁠Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• ⁠Hands-on experience with Docker.

Responsibilities & Context

• ⁠Manage and optimize our AWS infrastructure, including IAM, EC2, VPC, AMI, RDS, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling Groups, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, SNS, SES, and cross-account backups.
• ⁠Administer and maintain Ubuntu Linux servers across development, UAT, and production environments.
• ⁠Host and manage self-hosted MySQL production databases on Ubuntu Linux servers.
• ⁠Handle MySQL database management, including backups, restores, and migrations.
• ⁠Implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS services and other tools to automate deployment processes.
• ⁠Implement and manage logging and monitoring tools like the Elastic Stack and Grafana.
• ⁠Use the Elastic Stack and Grafana to collect logs, troubleshoot incidents, and support developers by providing actionable insights.
• ⁠Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts for automation.
• ⁠Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
• ⁠Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes and implement solutions.
• ⁠Manage Docker containers for microservices.
