Job Summary:

The DevOps Engineer is a mission-critical role responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the company’s software development and deployment processes in a high-traffic, real-time Fintech environment. This role demands expertise in CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), container orchestration, and robust monitoring systems to support 24/7 financial transactions. Experience in high-volume live systems, Fintech operations, and Data Center-Disaster Recovery (DC-DR) synchronization is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline & Deployment Automation:

Design, build, and maintain mission-critical CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps to ensure zero-downtime deployments.
Implement blue-green and canary deployment strategies to minimize risk and ensure seamless rollouts in high-traffic environments.
Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts to ensure scalability and resilience.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Monitoring & Incident Response:

Deploy and configure real-time monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to track system health and performance.
Set up automated alerts and anomaly detection to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Security & Compliance:

Implement robust security practices in CI/CD pipelines, including RBAC, secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), and encrypted deployments.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) and internal security policies.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to safeguard sensitive financial data.

High Availability & Disaster Recovery (DC-DR Sync):

Design and implement high-availability (HA) architectures to ensure uninterrupted service for mission-critical financial transactions.
Develop and maintain Data Center-Disaster Recovery (DC-DR) synchronization processes to ensure data consistency and availability across environments.
Conduct regular DR drills to validate synchronization and recovery processes, minimizing data loss during failover.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.
Provide Level 2 (L2) support for deployment and infrastructure-related issues, ensuring rapid resolution of critical incidents.
