Job Context

Metafour Asia is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our Software as a Service (SaaS) Operations team. We are seeking a proactive team member with a focus on Cloud Technologies, Information Security (InfoSec) and Compliance. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and ensuring secure, compliant environments in dynamic settings.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, configure, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.
• Performance, Security, and Compliance: Monitor system performance, reliability, and security; ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 through backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• System Updates and Optimization: Manage updates, fixes, and enhancements to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance, leveraging automation tools to streamline workflows.
• Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain database clusters to support high availability and performance.
• Documentation and Incident Response: Create and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting and operational processes; participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support for critical issues.
